Hi guys

Just after some general info that I can finally use in printed from and
distrubute to our newer members

Im the tenor in a newly formed Barbershop Chorus in Brisbane, Australia. We
have 21 members, over half of which have never sang before. We are coming
along slowly but I was wondering how everyone learns a song.

Myself, I go over and over the learning CD singing each bit until I know the
whole song. I then can follow the written music (my reading skills are very
poor, as are most of our chorus)

This works for me but probably not for everyone

All comments are very welcome

If you have not already done so, have a look at the website for the
Barbershop Harmony Society
www.barbershop.org and http://www.barbershopwiki.org/
They both have lots of information including how to learn a song, how to
learn to read music, and much more.

Best wishes from a relative newbie (only 5 years).
